First of all let me say Thank you, because of memorials from Olive Rogalla and Bob Witzman along with your generous donations we have been able to pay more than half the debt for the new stove already. Unfortunately, as we were contemplating that good news, the ice machine decided to give up the fight. We were able to get a good deal on a used unit which will buy us another year or so. Ever mindful that the roof MUST be replaced this year, we thank you for participating in the continual little fundraisers we have going on in the Social Quarters. These small fundraisers are helping with the general upkeep of appliances and mechanics.

Congratulations and good luck to the new board of Officers; Governor Wally Marlton, Jr. Governor John Hendrickson, Jr. Past Governor Ray Sundin, Treasurer Carlyle Eckart, Prelate Jim Brown, Trustees Rich Boelke, John Ray and Brian Jackman. Gentleman, it is time for you to honor your mothers, wives and the mothers of your children by making breakfast on the May 13th. Remember the more the merrier and the faster the work goes. Contact one of the Officers if you can help out.

May 16th is the night chosen to honor our 50 year members and welcome the new inductees. Our honorees will enjoy a delicious supper on us. Please consider this your invitation to join us for dinner for a minimal cost. A sign-up sheet will be in the Social Quarters.

Highway clean-up is scheduled for May19th at 9am. Do you know a high school senior that still needs some community service hours? Invite them to join us and we will give them credit.
Friday, June 1st at 6pm is the date and time for our next new member orientation. It is our hope that all new members and their sponsors will attend this event. Light refreshments will be served. This event is a good time to explain some of our goals and objectives, along with describing some of the events and things coming up on our calendar.

The MS 150 rolls into town June 8th. Those bikers need to be fed and entertained while they're here. Come on down to the Lodge and see what you can do to help. We have a blood drive scheduled at the Lodge on June 15th. There is a sign-up sheet in the Social Quarters
if you would like to reserve a time. On June 22nd we are hosting a Lodge baby shower for Jerry Seppanen. Those of you that have been participating in the games in the Social Quarters know how this came about, however the idea has grown. So now we are actually going to have a baby shower/ reveal party with real gifts. All baby items brought in will be collected and donated to the Bethany Crisis Shelter.

See ya around the Lodge.
