TRANSFER FEE WAIVED!!!
Attn: ALL Moose Lodge members. Do you know of any West Duluth 1478 or any other Moose Lodge members that might want to transfer into Proctor but the twenty dollar transfer fee is holding them back? Well for the next three months Proctor will waive the twenty dollar fee for any paid up Moose Member that wants to transfer into Proctor. All they need to do is come up to Proctor and fill out the transfer application and Dennis will take care of the rest. If you have any questions call Dennis Shovein at 624-1908.

From the Administrator:

We finally made it into the heart of summer. I hope everyone has a good 4th of July. Now that we made it to July it’s time for the Lodge Family Picnic. As in the past it will be the third Sunday of this month at Sampo Beach. All paid up Chapter 585 and Lodge 1302 members and their families are welcome. You must remember to bring your Moose card with you as we check the cards at the registration table. We could also use some new volunteers to help with set up, registration, cooking and tearing down. For most this requires about an hour of your time. If you
are interested see Dennis Shovein or Gene Borck. The Lodge supplies the brat’s, polish, hot dogs, beer, pop, corn on the cob, beans and chips. Your support of the Lodge and its activities helps pay for this and other events. We hope we can continue to count on your support.

The third weekend of August is the Hoghead festival. We use this weekend to help make up for the slow summer months. We need volunteers to help with checking membership cards both Friday and Saturday and cooking and serving food inside and out. We only need a couple of hours of your time. If you can help again see Dennis or come in and sign up on the volunteer list and pick the hours best suited to you.

We are changing the menu for our Thursday night baskets and the monthly pizza nights. I think all of you will like what were doing. Look for the new menu in this bulletin.

At the Men’s meeting in May we drew for the four $250.00 scholarship awards. We had eighteen applications. The winners and their sponsors were Morgan Theno by Mike Theno, Chad Ronchetti by Dorie Liskiewicz, Erik Sundstrom by Dennis Shovein and Amiranda Brinteson by Howard Stensund.

Make sure and check the rest of the newsletter and calendar for up coming activities and dinners.
